Social Media Intern [Summer 2020]

Angelic Branding Consulting is a brand development and consulting agency. Our vision is a world where brands who are doing great things, are being noticed, supported and sustained by the communities that matter the most to them.


During this 8-week, paid internship, the Social Media Intern will be responsible for coordinating and executing one brand’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Under the direct supervision of our Lead Brand Strategist, the intern will: 


  • Assist with streamlining client’s social media accounts ensuring uniform content and tone of voice for landing pages, graphics, and other elements 

  • Draft content for client’s social media channels including copy, photos, videos and/or infographics 

  • Increase the number of followers by following and engaging with client’s target audience(s)

  • Liaise with client staff, internally, to ensure that their company profiles are accurate and up-to date

  • Track social media interaction and fanbase growth and provide client with bi-weekly and/or monthly updates

  • Review data on the performance of social media channels and adjust plans or strategies to optimize outreach

  • Contribute to the team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed



  • Ideal candidate is a recent graduate (graduated within the past year) or an undergraduate student in communications, public relations, marketing, graphic design or a related field

  • Must have a personal computer 

  • Must have access to reliable wifi 



  • Proven written communication skills, and a passion for writing both short- and long-copy

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

  • Strong analytical and research skills

  • Familiarity with key social media tools (e.g. Twitter and Facebook)

  • Familiarity with G Suite Products (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets)

  • Understands and can utilize emerging platforms, digital media, and web/social media management and measurement tools (e.g. HootSuite, Google Analytics)

  • Experience with basic photo editing and video editing is not necessary but it is a plus (Adobe Creative Suite experience is a major plus)

  • Ability to work independently and function as a positive team member 

  • Ability to transition between tasks and adapt to changing needs as priorities change

  • Willingness to learn


  • July 29 Week - Client Overview (unpaid) 

  • 8 weeks,  July 5 - August 28 (paid) 

  • 10 hours per week 

  • Remote (must live in the United States)
